1936 / 2020 Verschiedene Welten.
One of the most impressive things I've known all my life is our piano.I (undoubtedly) crawled around it as a baby. Amazed by the castors on wooden blocks. I often heard my mother (in the afternoon) play a Chopin polonaise on it.The piano was once bought by my mother's father. We all had lessons on it as a child. But now the piano was gone.
The strings bounced back after it was tuned. But I wanted something with it. Don't say goodbye. Keep the lowest notes.

Crucifix
While clearing out our parental home, I came across this crucifix. I've known it all my life. My parents got married in 1956. They were religious at the time. Over the years they have let go of their faith.
Jesus was missing his left arm. Which one I couldn't find anymore. I wanted to repair the statue and keep it as a reminder of a bygone time. But did I have to reattach Jesus' arm to the cross again? I have chosen not to do this.
